I’ve spoken about the Glazers situation many times before, but I haven’t been too harsh because to be totally honest I’m not sure what’s the best solution.
I will ALWAYS back the supporters of United if their agenda is to improve the state of our club. This # is number 1 trending in the world right now and the reason I’m doing it is because we need to see changes in our club. We are miles behind the other top clubs and we won’t win the league because we’re having the biggest sponsors. Tbh I don’t think Glazer will sell as long as they’re making money, but if they open their eyes and do changes that’s a start. We need to be careful what we wish for because who else is capable of buying our club? We can end up with even worse owners and if we’re in the hands of some sheikhs, we’re definitely f**ked. Many are saying that it isn’t that bad, just look at City and PSG, they are winning trophies. But I don’t want my club to be near anything like those clubs! We will lose all of our soul if that happens and there’s no turning back.
After my post on Instagram there’s been a lot of different options about #GlazersOut and that’s good- we need to raise our voices! I believe this is a good way to get the Glazers attention.
I feel torn because I guess I’m part of the problem as well, I’m a ‘tourist’ from Oslo traveling over to Manchester as often as I can. I have a season ticket, I buy shirts. I spend a hell lot of money on United and that’s money in the pocket for Glazers. But I will never stop supporting my club, I will never stop going to games. But I can, and we must demand a change! We need people that care about United’s success on board and we need to bring back our identity. I fell in love with United over 20 years ago because they entertained me, they played amazing football and everyone else were frightened of us.
There’s no better feeling in the world than being a RED. It’s time for all us United supporters to stand together and fight for our club. I want my Manchester United back!
