Sist United vant Premier League/ the last time United won the League

English version further down

The photos is from the last time United won the league. I celebrated in my own way of course. Maybe not in a traditional way, but it was fun! I still worked as a model at that time so I had a make up artist who painted every inch of my body in GOLD and we did a photo shoot. I also won a competition in the Scandinavian support club on how fans celebrated the victory! Good old days…

2013 was the year, and what a season that was. I have many funny stories about my self and United, and one of them is when Robin van Persie scored a hat-trick against Aston Villa and United had won the league! I was watching the game in a pub with friends and I got so excited and happy that I fainted. Went straight down, after my friends asked if I was ok- which I was, we continued celebrating the night trough. Haha, good times for sure.

But 2013 is a long time ago. I love Premier League and put that higher than Champions League actually. Everything can happen in a Cup and it's not necessarily the best team that wins it, but to win Premier League you are the best. It's not debatable if you ask me..

There are only 13 days to go until the 2018/19 season kicks off and those days will go fast! We're halfway trough the pre-season and if transfers will be made, it will happen before the start of the season so exiting days ahead.. Or at least I hope.. We manage to win the league in 2013 with maybe the most mediocre team that ever won the league. But we did it because as a team they were solid, we had a deadly striker and most of all they had Sir Alex Ferguson. Jesus made wine out of water, SAF won the league with Büttner, Cleverly and Evans, I don't know what's most remarkable?! But with SAF it was possible and his last season was for sure something very special..

The fans are now getting impatient. And I understand many of them.. I'm not the supporter who necessarily need to win a trophy every season, I knew the road would be tough, hard and bumpy after Ferguson. The new manager need time to build his team and our boss now is Mourinho. He said 'judge me after three years' and I totally respect that. He will get time. I understand that many fans don't want him, I don't agree on everything he does- but he got my support. The last years hasn't been good for United, but he need to build his team. And we need to back him. When he took over it wasn't a 'Mourinho' team, but this is his third season and now I want results. There's been progression and I believe with some new players we can win the league. That also means things gotta start happen now. If you ask me we need a replacement for Valencia and Young (if Shaw isn't in Mourinhos plan), the defense must be our priority but we also need to strengthen the team all over. I'd say give the youngster a chance now and then, but we need something solid and it's a long season. If we're going to try and compete with the top clubs we MUST expand our squad.

I think Perisic is a very exciting player, think he'd fit United well. Alderweireld is good and I'd rather see him than Maguire tbh. But I have no idea what Mourinho wants, he got his favorites and hard to tell what his plan is. I would love to see Bale also, he's probably the most realistic world class player to sign, but I don't have my hopes up, I don't think Real will sell him now. But one thing is sure; we need to buy players. Interesting weeks ahead.

Practice makes perfect

What's better than starting the day with a United match and a win?! Not much to be honest..

My last blog post was about pre-season and my thoughts about it. And as I said, it's not necessarily about the result. It's first of all match training and getting the players fit. But if they play good together and are fit, they will win- it goes hand in hand. And the two first games was poor. That was 90 min x 2 I'd rather use on sleep. There's been some good moments, but over all, not good football. The game against San Jose Earthquake was really bad, so bad that I was pissed off of the end of it. It wasn't because we didn't win, but certain players need to WAKE UP. Martials attitude was the worst, he didn't even try to hide it. He- of all players should be the one that's fit and ready for matches. He's now on his way to France again because his girlfriend is giving birth to his second child and that's fair enough. But that's bad timing for him. His disappointed so far and we might not see him again. I hope he'll stay. But I want him to stay because he wants to be a part of United and keep fighting for a place in the team. Unfortunately I don't think he's motivated for that. If we sell him it will cost so that's good, but honestly, no clubs will match his salary so we'll see what's more important for him. He's a huge talent so I really want him in our team, but he can't behave like a moody brat. With that said, I wish him all the best with the new baby and fingers crossed his personal life is all good and calmed now.

This night/ morning we played against AC Milan and Sanchez goal was a banger! Great ball from Mata. I really like seeing them pairing up. Promising. The players did good, but Shaw disappointed me today. And that's bad because he will be starting the season and I want him to get back to where he was before his injury. Seeing party pictures and his beer belly on Ibiza literally drove me mad crazy. I know he went back and worked out, but the signals to the fans and Mourinho isn't good at all. He need to focus and this season is make it or break it for Luke.

Smalling, again, shows his not good enough for United. Unfortunately- I really like the guy! And he's vegan😂🙌❤ I want him as a squad player, like a second or third choice ok, but we'll concede lots of goals because of him so we need something solid. He's too often out of position and I can see the goal coming before he can read the game.

Andreas has been good and today he was great, confident and hopefully a player that we'll see a lot of next season! It's good to see players who wants to pass forward!

Darmian was handed the captaincy today 🙈 and yes, I understand why. It's probably his last game for United and a nice gesture. But I'm not a fan (at all!) of the captain badge being thrown around as it's been the last seasons. It's a serious task and it should be given to players that deserve it because they have leader skills. Need to sell Darmian ASAP, I liked him and Blind so no shaming, but none of them fitted the team so fair enough to see them leave. Players out=players in. (Did you hear that Woodward?!)

The game ended 9-8 after a penalty shootout and it's a good feeling we have the best keeper in the world, and also number two and three is world class.

Next game is Saturday night and against Liverpool. And even though it's only pre-season and a 'friendly game', it's never friendly against the scousers…

How important is pre-season?

Pre-season, silly-season.. The fans are split on how important this 'season' is and how much they put into it. I watch every game, even though it's in the middle of the night and I got work hours later. It's not the regular matchday feeling- at all! But it's still a game and I want to see 'my' players in action. Massive respect to all the foreign supporters that does this regularly!

It won't 'kill' me if we lose a game, but it's always a indicator on how they played. Pre-season is for me first of all to get the players fit. To work as a team and try out different tactics, it's also team building that hopefully makes the team stronger for the upcoming season.

But this is maybe the most important pre-season in a long time? United gotta make sure they are ready for Leicester and without several key players, the players we have available MUST be fit and ready. The more I think about it, the more concerned I get. Leicester is not an easy game, at all. With all our players available, we should win every day of the week against them. But in this situation I'm not sure. Only Tottenham got more players not available, but there's no point using this as an excuse. It is what it is, and United need to prepare for it. It's Mourinho and his staffs job to make sure they got a starting XI fit and ready for the first round. I'm going to write more deeply about my thoughts for the upcoming season in my next blog post, but I can already say that we won't win the Premier League this season if this is our squad when the league kicks off. We are up there, of course we got a chance, but City is a way better, stronger team. They have solid back ups, we don't. So if we're going to have a chance we have to have a perfect start and don't mess up.

That's why this pre-season is so important. Winning the games isn't what's matter, but getting the team fit and that THEY PLAY AS A TEAM. If they do that, they will also win games. It goes hand in hand. I've watched the first game, twice actually and even though I don't put too much in it, it was poor. Too slow and bad passes. Boring. Also good moments, Chong showed his skills and many young boys got the chance to play. Matas goal was good football. Matic has joined the team now and the same with Sanchez. I think it's blameworthy that the club didn't sort his visa out before they left, but he's there now and he will with no doubt be the player (with Martial) who needs to step up from game week 1!

Tonight United plays against San Jose Earthquake. I think this game will be better. The players aren't jet lagged anymore, they've been training well and more used to the temperature.

From Russia with love

Hello! This girl is back from Russia and I've had the best time; what a World Cup it's been!!

I didn't want to admit it before I was leaving, but I actually had a worrying feeling for going to the World Cup. I'm usually not a person that's afraid of things, and definitely not traveling, but going to Russia and reading about how exposed it would be for terror etc, I was a little bit afraid. I said it to Hanne when we was on our way to St. Petersburg after six days in Moscow and she agreed 100%, maybe it was because we were in France together for the Euros in 2016 and in Nice just days before the attack there.. But my point here is; we've never felt more safe in Russia! When we was there it was never on our minds and we were very relaxed. You can say and think a lot about Russia and how they do things, but oh my, they have total control when it comes to safety for their tourists! So that was a very nice surprise for us, which automatically made the trip a lot better. I'm also gonna admit that I have been a bit judgmental about Russia, but I loved every minute there. Moscow and St. Petersburg are two amazing towns everyone should visit!

Thanks to Booking.com, we didn't have any hotel when we arrived cause they'd been scammed by a lot of people, and they didn't do anything to solve it and kind of let us handle all the problems on our own so I'm not happy about that and I doubt I'll ever use them again. You can imagine the prizes for hotels in Moscow when the World Cup already had started so we used hours to fix it every day, but we got a roof over our head and now it's a story to tell and laugh about 😂

First night we visited The White Rabbit, a famous restaurant in Moscow. I can't say anything about the food though, it was late so all the could offer was a simple salad, but the wine and drinks was 10/10. Also bought the funniest souvenir there!

First game was Argentina vs Iceland and that was something we all had been looking forward to! I'm not the hugest Argentina supporter but I do love Maradona and the country so it was very special to finally see them play live!

The game ended 1-1 and that was a fair result. The Iceland supporters are amazing so it was a good atmosphere all around the stadium.

Germany – Mexico! What a game and atmosphere! Who could predict the outcome for Germany in this World Cup before it started? A lot of surprises, and this was one of them. The Mexican people were CRAZY! But they were so nice and it's amazing to watch how much football means for people. Old men crying and hugging each other… I love it!

Even though I've never been there (yet!) I love, love Mexico!

What- have you never seen two girls buying six beer each?!😂

People asked me why I don't support Sweden since they're our neighbors. Of course I do, but not of the cost of England. England will always be the team I follow as long as Norway isn't qualified. I supported Sweden as long as I could and they did good in this tournament. But when they met England in the quarterfinals it ended. It was nice to see Lindelöf play, he looked calm and relaxed so I think next season he will do good in the Premier League and for United!

Ready for the first England game!

This was a typical Russian breakfast 😂

Haha, looking back at these photos I can see how bad I felt. I got a high fever that lasted almost a week so even though it was all fun and games at daytime, I was dead in the night! 😂

Polen- Senegal. Good match and very good atmosphere 😁🙌

Portugal – Morocco! I've been to three tournaments now and watched Portugal and the GOAT 🙌

After six days in Moscow we traveled to St. Petersburg for our last game. We chose to take the train and with first class and that's the best decision ever. Took us 3 hours and had a room all for our self with everything included. I was still sick so I slept trough it all, but train over airports any day!

BRAZIL – COSTA RICA! A big game for us all! As I said, I'm not a crazy supporter of Argentina or Brazil, but those two teams has played a huge impact on me, players like Maradona, Pelè and Ronaldo are absolutely legends for me. And Brazil is a country where everyone loves their team and understand how important football is. When Brazil finally scored it exploded around us! People crying and celebrating everywhere, it was an incredible experience.

Our last day in Russia we started with a sightseeing, St. Petersburg is probably one of the nicest cities I've ever seen and one day is far from enough so one day I'll definitely go back! We also had a table at a full vegetarian restaurant and it was so good! Good food, drinks and a perfect pre-party before Sweden against Germany! This day I supported Sweden 100% and they deserved a win so I was disappointed after. When we went out after the game the whole town was on fire! Everyone was out celebrating, all the streets were closet for traffic so it was the biggest street party I've witnessed! I'm glad Russia started out good in the tournament, I think that was one of the reasons everyone was so happy!

England was playing the day we landed in Oslo so I had to go straight home for a shower and leave my luggage then straight out again. Oslo has one of the biggest fan zones in Europe and all the foreign people I've talked to here have said it's the best their been too. And I agree! If you're ever planning to visit Oslo, you should do it under a tournament and visit 'Kontraskjæret'

We've been blessed by this crazy(!!) good weather since May so the reason I've not been able to put out this blog post before now is because I've been out pretty much every day!

England did so well and they should all be proud to reach the semi-final!

Straight after England lost, I was upset- they were so close to reach the final! But seeing how they got the English people so excited again was good, it's a team that has a lot of potential in the future and this experience must have given the players a huge boost. Young and Jesse was really good! Jesse is world class and I can't wait for the season to start again, I think he will be one of the best next season actually. He's on a roll and the type of person that only gets better and won't stop. I'm sad Rash didn't get as much time as he deserved, but a nice experience for him as well!

France won the World Cup 100% deserved and it was a very entertaining final! We're returning to the premier league with a World Cup champion in our team and that's pretty cool! Pogba is a star and I enjoyed watching him this summer, he is also a person that only keeps going when he do well and fingers crossed he gets a free role in the team next season so he can use his skills to our benefits!

Congratulations France! The best team won and this has been the best and most memorable World Cup! God, I love football!

And the good thing is…only one day to pre-season begins 😈❤⚽
