What a nerve wrecking game yesterday?! It wasn’t good at all, second half was a disaster. United should have killed the game when they had the chance, Lukaku and Herrera had two chances they should have scored on but instead United got chased around for 45 minutes and I guess the players were as stressed as me because we only were 1 goal ahead. Southampton dominated second half and we were lucky. Even though Mourinho ‘parked the bus’ I was scared! With City smashing C Palace in their second half we could not let this slip! And Mourinho being sent off on overtime didn’t exactly calm me down. What a joke!? The referee didn’t speak to him- just sent him off! Seems like Klopp, Conte and the rest of the circus can do and say everything they want but Jose get punished. Ridiculous.

Meanwhile…

I wasn’t pleased with the way United were playing. We are stronger and better than the performance they showed us yesterday. But I’m not going to be too harsh, it’s a long season and we won’t be able to win 4-0 every game. It’s too much to expect a top performance every week. Lukaku scored the goal and we won. Even though he wasn’t at his best we can see how much we needed a player like him. Doing his job and he’s now the first player to score against Southampton at St. Mary’s for three Premier League clubs. Also good to see Young back, I’m not happy at all with Darmian and Blind as left backs. They’re squad players but not someone to put on from start week after week, especially in the PL. My opinion, feel free to disagree. I’m not seeing Young as their replacement either but at time to time it’s good to have him and he’s done a good comeback. I wouldn’t expect a cross like that from Blind and Darmian. United fought hard and it was a difficult match. But we won and we are still unbeaten.

This weekend was all about relaxing and we’ve have been working out together, watched Sons of anerchy and cooking good food! I love making food after which season we’re in. Now I love warm soups, vegetables that’s typical for the fall like mushrooms and root vegetables. We ended up with a delicious pasta dinner with chanterelles. So good! And a glass of red wine of course 😁

Southampton away

Endelig helg!

To spilt og to vunnet. Derfor måtte jeg selvfølgelig kjøpe meg ny drakt for noen dager siden.

Finally weekend! This one will be a huge contrast to my previous ones. I'm just going to stay inside watching football and tv, eat good food and relax. Work out and sleep in. I need a healthy weekend and nothing's better than starting the day with a good work out! I'm as we speak in the treadmill and gonna do 1 h here with power walk and lifting weights after.

Southampton vs Manchester United

Saturday and United playing away against Southampton. I don't take any games for granted, I knew Stoke would be a tough one and we dropped points, no games in the Premier League are easy. Last season we lost a lot of points to mid-table teams but as I've said before out team now are much stronger than last season. Games we could have lost or played draw we're now winning, I see a change and today we must win. Statistically we should, we haven't lost at St. Mary's since 2003 and we're on a roll. I'm expecting an entertaining game and a good win. We need to look forward and never give the opponent a chance to score. I'm curious on the team though, I really want Herrera to start! He need to be played more and we need the Herrera we had last season. Especially now when Pogba is injured. I trust Mourinho, but please please please don't start with Fellaini! There's no balance with him and Matic on the midfield! Herrera is the same type of player as Pogba and defiantly something we will miss today if we start with Fellaini+Matic.

Score prediction people? Another 4-0 victory?! I sat money on a 4-0 win against Burton and even though it was a fantastic game I was pissed off at Pereira at the end. 😂

And that leads me over to the previous cup games! I haven't had time to write about them. Two games and two win, can't complain about that. I can't describe the feeling I had inside me when the Champions League chant came on! An amazing feeling!! It's so good to be back in Europe against the best teams and I can't wait till the next game. I was also very excited to see other players get their chance and especially Lindelöf, I've written only good things about him and I believe his talented but he gotta show us something soon. I can't point my finger at it, but he seems a bit…lost? Idk but I gotta admit I'm a bit disappointed, I was expecting more of him l. We need to give him time to adapt, look at some of our best players ever in the history and they didn't have the smoothest start either so it's stupid to write him off already and writing shit. A totally different player but one who also had to prove himself was Martial, and he's been amazing. Against Burton he was everywhere, high and low. Good to see him back and many goals ahead if he continue like this. And what about Rashford?! Amazing person! He will be the best player in the world if he keep up the good work. Watching United like this makes me so happy!

Jentetur til Manchester/ trip to Manchester with the girls

Time flies when you have fun! Manchester was great (as always) and birthday weekend part two didn’t disappoint. And most importantly; United won! So yeah, the weekend was exactly what I expected 😁

We all stayed together in an apartment this time and I recommend it if you are more than two people traveling to Manchester. It’s so expensive for hotels in Manchester and I can’t think how many thousands I’ve waisted on bad hotels because that’s the only thing left and they put the prizes up because of football. I could have gotten a luxury vacation for all that money but because of United I keep coming back! 😛 anyway; I highly recommend airbnb instead of hotels if you’re traveling in a group. It’s more social and often cheaper as well. Our place was really nice and it’s so important for me that the bedroom and bathroom are nice and clean. I don’t care about the rest because all I do inside is sleep and shower. If you’re a normal person it’s also nice to have a good breakfast (I’ve heard..) before match etc. We filled the refrigerator with Pepsi max and red bull, ready to cure the hangover.

We arrived Manchester super early and after checking in we went out for lunch. If you’re looking for a cheap meal or don’t know what you want for food and you’re in a group Tops buffet is a good choice. Think it’s only £10 for food and they got it all. I had sushi, sweet potato fries, mixed vegetables, fried rice and a tofu mix and it was really good. Many vegan options and ok to visit now and then. The negative thing about eating at an all-you-can-eat place is that it’s like my body take it as an challenge to see how much food I can eat. Haha. And when wearing a super tight jeans and a crop top it’s not the smartest thing. 😜

Visiting the Circus tavern is tradition and it’s always a good mix with locals and Norwegians. Since I’m a tourist I like that 😉

For dinner we visited Fazenda and everyone loved the food. Good food, drinks and friends 😁❤ we visited some bars around Spinningsfield after and ended up at Panacea.

Sunday and MATCHDAY! Days like this you just gotta get up and start where you ended the night before. Bottles were popped and we were ready! We went to the Bishops and it was really good that day, I met a lot of friends from all over and that makes it more fun naturally.

This time I had seats at singing section and I liked it. Different from stretty of course but good atmosphere! It wasn’t the best game event though we ended up with a new 4-0 win. Boring mostly but we got the goals and the most important is of course to get 3 points. But the supporters need more, we want entertainment! So we were happy to see more goals and a game we probably would have drawn last season we won in Sunday and that’s so important. United need to improve a lot to be able to win the league- but I can see clearly a progress and that’s good! I could (and want to) write more about the game but I don’t have time actually. I’m as we speak on the treadmill and cardio and typing is killing me so I have to stop both now and hurry home for the game!

I’m gonna go for a new 4-0 win today I think!

Deadline Day and national break

Normally deadline day is an exciting day but this season I'm quite happy actually and wasn't expecting anything tbh. I had Sky Sports on in the background and refreshed my Twitter now and then but that was it. On a scale from 1-6 I'm giving United a 5 this transfer window. United did their business early and they did it well. Many of us wanted a fourth player but I'm glad we didn't buy just to fill up the squad. My biggest wish was Griezmann and I'm sure he would have been a red now if it wasn't for the transfer ban in Athletico. Maybe next summer? Or already in January?! The number 7 is available and he will fit in perfectly. Looks like many are a bit disappointed about Lindelöf? We can't forget it's not that easy to join a new team and the best league in the world so give him time, he will get his chance and I believe he will do good, he's not called Iceman for nothing right. Mourinho said he will play against Basel and I think that's the right decision. Bailly and Jones has been amazing together! (!!) so changing that isn't the smartest thing to do when we are on a roll! I'm actually a huge fan and of Jones and I'm so happy he's back! Looks like his training routines has changed? Some players just get injured a lot more than others, they all have individual challenges and maybe Jones body isn't made for football training several times a week plus a game on top of it. Football is a very tough sport so if he gets a program made for him and also gets a bit smarter in his duels we will have a great pair with him and Bailly! Even though we need to give every player for our team our support, it's definitely super important to keep our British players and not toss them out if they're having a difficult time. We need them. So I'm really excited about Jones and hopefully Shaw will be back soon.

Matic must be the best transfer this season in the Premier League?! I still can't believe Chelsea let him go 😂 What a rock solid, top player he is!!

Lukaku was my number two on my wishlist after Griezmann and he's already proven him self. I love it when other supporters and the media are criticizing the money United are using and are laughing and making jokes about it and at the same time trying to justify the £92m bid on Lemar- which he rejected!! The prices in this transfer window are crazy but on the good side United are definitely the winners and Lukaku is a bargain! And what about Pogba?!

I HATE national breaks. Suddenly I don't know what to do in the weekend?! Haha but I guess my friends appreciate it tough so last Friday I celebrated Chrissy's birthday- she is also a HUGE UNITED supporter so give her a follow on Instagram! Her username is Christinahenriette and what's not to love about her?! She loves United, beer and tequila… when I think about she's my soulmate 😂❤

The weekend was good but it's not the same without football! I follow England and Norway but it's not with the passion I got for United. So I can't wait for this weekend and Premier League! My birthday is September 11 and since I couldn't decide which weekend to celebrate I landed on both; this and the next weekend. It's on a Monday so in my head it made perfectly sense to have one weekend here in Oslo to celebrate and then do the same in Manchester next weekend! Manchester United vs Everton will be a good game to watch live. Rooney back again for the first time as a blue..

But first we're meeting Stoke away in the league and then finally we are back in the Champions League!! Suddenly it's ok to have a drink in the weekdays 😂 joking, but being back means so much. It's been embarrassing not to be with the best team in Europe.

September is a busy month for United! We have 7 games in 21 days. That means a tight schedule for me as well 😁 United couldn't started better in the league but it's now it really begins! We are actually "lucky" this time; Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Pool have some tough games ahead of themselves and United need to continue the strike when we know for sure some of them will drop points.

The journey continues

MATCHDAY! Probably one of my favorite words 😁We're back at Old Trafford and the guests today are Leicester. Not an easy game at all and for the first game this season I don't think we'll get a clean sheet. We need to continue our attacking football and be ON from the first minute. But we got this, no way Leicester will win. I hope Martial get the chance from start and that's the only change Mourinho make. I'm really excited for tonight's game and I think it will be an entertaining evening! It's the last game before international break so let's get those 3 points and stay top of the league!

As I said there's a lot of good news these days; Young and Shaw are recovering nice. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Shaw will be as good – or better- than he was before he got injured. Looks like he's been a lot more professional lately and understand Mourinhos demands for being a player for Man. United. Rojo is back training also and they'll be an important addition to the squad later this season when we play up to three matches a week. I'm very happy about the Champions League group and I'm sure we'll make it to the next stage.

But, the biggest announcement was of course Zlatan! I guess we all hoped for a comeback but an injury like that and our goals for this season it's easier said than done to get a new contract. But Zlatan is Zlatan. Of course he would be back?! We all have watched him train hard after the injury and his fitness improvements are unbelievable! He's back to finish what he came for and I can't wait to see him back on the pitch!

Manchester United- Leicester. Can we get nine out of nine?!

My tip; United to win 3-1

What's your score prediction?

It's good times for sure to be a United supporter these days! Up the reds ❤

2 down, 36 to go

A perfect away-day!

4-0 on a day many say United isn’t good enough to win the league. I totally agree that it wasn’t the best day for us. It was last season all over again the first half and I wasn’t convinced. In 79 minutes we played mediocre and even though we were the best team we need to get the second goal faster! That’s so important, we need to kill the game before we get punished for playing it low. But we won a game we probably would have drawn last season!
Rashford had a rough day and I get his frustration. He should have gotten some free kicks but instead gets a warning. I’m sure the goals will be coming his way soon though!

The game changed when Martial came on and he deserve to be in the starting line up for the Leicester game. I wasn’t expecting another 4-0 victory, but it’s so good the boys didn’t stop after the second goal! They all wanted a bite of the cake and gave us supporters more to cheer for. The joy is finally back!
Yesterday we just relaxed at home and it was so good having a night in with good food, football on tv and some episodes with Sons of anarchy! I’ve heard so much about it, but never watched it before and I really like it. Friday night I went out for “one drink” but we all know what that means 😜

Game week 2

First of all; thank you for all the nice comments about my blog! I’ve used this platform for almost ten years(!!) and a lot have changed for me since I got introduced to social media. We share so much these days and it’s easy to lose control over how much you actually share of your life, and the last couple of years I’ve been more and more private. Not that I need to hide anything but it’s important for me to have some parts of my life totally private. That means most of my relationship, my job, family and friends. I know some of you would like me to share more, but you have to remember that it’s not only about me, I have people close who doesn’t like to have their life exposed on a blog etc and I understand that! I’m not sure if I would like friends/boyfriend write about me either for the world to see and I’m not shy or that private at all😝 But, since I’ve started to write in English as well I guess I have to be a bit more personal sometimes just so you understand what I’m writing about. I just had to make it clear why it’s a lot of ME in here 😂 I reckon most of you read this blog because I write about United and that’s good, cause most of my posts are about football 😁 My blog is about my life, it’s kind of my dairy but my life isn’t that exciting tbh, I’m gone for work at least nine hour everyday and after that I’m at the gym or with friends or my boyfriend, I don’t think people will be interested in reading about that all day so my blog is mostly about my passion for United 😎 And the good thing about that and the reason I love this sport so much is that every game is different! A different opponent every week, a new referee, new situations to discuss and the players and the team together is also something to analyze every game so that’s why I love writing about United- it never gets boring 😈

I’m not used to write this much in a different language, I know my grammar isn’t always correct but bare with me please- I’m used to Twitter with 140 signs ok 😂 I can’t promise I’ll do both versions every time but I’ll try. Sometimes I’ll do it in Norwegian, other times in English. Everyone in Norway can read and understand my blog but it’s not the same when it’s not my first language. So we’ll see how it goes! I’ll continue do this if the feedback is good and I got the time!

FINALLY WEEKEND! After watching United crush West Ham on Sunday I’ve been wanting MORE! I’m really excited for game week 2 and I’m feeling very optimistic. When all the players are this good, Mourinho got a luxury problem picking the team. Martial deserve to start, I want to see Herrera also, but Mata was really good so who will get the chance? It’s really hard because everyone did a great job. Could be worse of course! Hopefully the players understand that and that they know their time will come. Throughout the season everyone will be getting plenty of minutes on the pitch and we need a big and good squad! The number one focus will always be the team and I believe Mourinho will put on the boys that started against West Ham. Why change a winning recipe?

It’s Swansea away and it’s nothing called an easy game in Premier League but with that said I believe United will win it. Hopefully as entertainment and fun as last round! I will be watching all the games at home this week, no pub for me! A lot of good food (we’re making lasagna from scratch the vegan way for the first time 😋) a glass of red wine and just relax. I need that after last weekend in Manchester!

Have you remembered to join my Fantasy league btw? It’s not too late! I was pretty happy about the first round actually. But I have no idea what to do this round 🤔 please give me some tips if you have some! I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have three Everton players against City?! I believe (and hope!!) they’ll give City a tough game but two in defense? I can loose a lot of points if City do well. Fingers crossed for Rooney though! And how about Tottenham home against Chelsea? Three players there as well, it’s their first home game at Wembley, not sure if they’ll benefit of that or not.. Maybe sell Kanté and put on a midfielder that are more likely to score.. hmmm this is not easy! And it’s seven players I’m insecure about, I have a lot to think about until next round!

The code for my league is 1591237-381618

what an opening weekend to the premier league!

Every trip I make to Manchester is special for me since I’m such a passionate Manchester United supporter and I feel privileged that I got my own season ticket and that I’m able to travel this often. I love Manchester and not only for the football club. I’ve traveled regularly since 2011 and my love for the city and all the people gets stronger every time. I’ve been thinking a lot about you guys since the terror attack back in May. It was a nightmare and it took away the normal “match day-feeling” when I sat on the flight to Stockholm. Football means nothing when it comes to this, but that night United won the final for the whole city. The victory was for Manchester and it was a strong achievement when it clearly affected everyone.

And that’s the great thing about football, even though life is hard we can forget about it for some hours, get together and watch our team play and feel close, ignore everything else. And just for 90 minutes things are perfect. Manchester will forever be affected by this and we will never forget. I feel your pain, Norway was attacked in 2011 and it claimed a total of 77 lives, mostly young people. It was the deadliest attack in Norway since World War 2 and we all felt how it was to be under attack. Our city was no longer safe and we will always remember that day. But we can’t let those people win, they want to spread fear and change our lives. After the attack in Oslo we responded with love. “If one man can show so much hate, just imagine how much love we all together can create”. And it was amazing to see that Manchester did the same. As you say; “this is Manchester. We do things differently here…”

As I said, Manchester is always special to me, but this trip meant so much more. It was amazing to finally be back after a long summer and it didn’t disappoint.

Me and my boyfriend arrived super early Friday and after checking in we went to the gym. Even though I love a good party, a healthy lifestyle is also very important to me so I’m glad we stayed at The Lowry where I can order any food I want and also work out. You know, it’s all about balance 😉

Last time in Manchester we had some amazing Chinese food so after a quick shower we went back there, I love this place- they got their own vegan menu! That makes me SO HAPPY(!!!!) It’s called The Little Yang Sing and since it’s so good I’m afraid they’re stucked with me for life!

In Norway it’s almost 50-50 of Manchester United and Liverpool supporters. And Premier League is huge here so every weekend United play at home there’s a lot of Norwegians over. I know some of you hate us and some of you love us, haha! After a good lunch we went to see some of our friends around the city. One place I always visit is The Circus Tavern. Smallest pub with the best atmosphere! Barry and the girls are so nice so it’s always good to see them.

For dinner we tried a new place called Fazenda and even though it’s a steak house I loved it! The location was nice, they had a cool bar, a huge salad bar, some really good wine and a few vegan options as well on their menu. I don’t ask for more 😉 I know Guacho is a really popular place, but I will highly recommend this one. I’ll be back for sure!

Saturday morning, I was up early to catch the breakfast and a bloody Mary. (Hello vacation!) After that I had a powernap before we went out to meet some friends, I was finally in vacay-mood 😀

A selfie a day keeps the doctor away…

The weather was nice so we walked in a slow tempo down to the city and just enjoyed the sun. Those who follow my social media know I’m a big fan of betting and it’s so easy with my Betsson app to do live-bet etc, but it’s something special to go in a small shop to deliver your bet and get a coupon. And you know what- all my bets went in 😉

Betting expert 😉

It was time for lunch so we went to a French brasserie (Cote Brasserie) I’ve visited once before but our disappointment was HUGE when they no longer served onion soup?! You can’t run a French Brasserie and not have that the menu?! It was basically the reason I went there so I won’t be back until they put it back on the menu. The food is good, but not outstanding. The wine was good though so I didn’t complain 😉

(I’m looking through my photos and I know this is not a food blog, so sorry for mostly writing about food #sorrynotsorry! The funny thing about being vegan is that so many people think a plain salad is the only thing I eat?! Couldn’t be further from the truth 😀 )

My mood couldn’t be any better after Chelsea’s loss and Liverpool’s draw so Saturday was really good!

My all-time favorite restaurant in Manchester is Australiasia. The drinks, the food, the place.. I really enjoy it and it’s perfect to go there before a night out. I wanted to be in my best shape Sunday so I didn’t drink that much and went home straight after the dinner. Because of a shoulder injury I’m on some medicine that doesn’t go well with alcohol, I’m usually not the first one to leave 😉

Good friends and good food <3

Since the medicine is strong I was gutted when I woke up because I felt really bad, like the worst hangover ever but it’s because I skipped some meals and that can make me feel ill. So what else could I do than cure it with a Bloody Mary?? 😀 IT’S MATCH DAY!

Opening weekend is for me bigger than Christmas and my birthday! After a quick brekkie we took an Uber to The Bishops, I know the typical Manc doesn’t go there and are laughing at all the tourism (why?!) but I really don’t care. You can call me a tourist all you want, because that is what I am 😀 But never (!) say I’m not worthy my place at Old Trafford. If it makes you feel better- sure- make fun of us and use your bitterness on me while watching the game on TV and ranting on my social media (lol), but when I’m this passionate about my club I have every right to be there. And don’t get me wrong; 99% of all the people I meat are nice, but of course there are some rats and this is the only time I’ll give them attention. I just had to get it off my chest.

No idea what I was doing here, haha!

I went to The Bishops and the football hotel but I must say Bishop is the place for me! I like the place and the atmosphere was really good before kick-off!

Walking up the stairs to Stretford End was unbelievable.. Just knowing that in some minutes I would stand on my own place again after so many months off got me running without stops. And those who knows me know cardio is not my thing 😉

Stretty was buzzing!! Before the first goal we were quite worried because it looked all like last season all over again. Under my years as a season ticket holder I’ve witnessed so many bad games. Draw, draw, draw… I couldn’t live with another season with boring football on ‘The Theatre of draws’. So when Lukaku scored everyone exploded! I got a lot of messages from friends watching the game at home saying the atmosphere was good and it was, no-one sat down and we sang all the game trough.

This is the best medicine for everything! Being in Manchester and watch the boys play this well is the best feeling ever, it makes me unbelievable happy! I can’t describe it with no other words, just pure happiness.

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE

Yeah, yeah, let’s not get carried away. But this was the best football since Fergie!?! The season has just started, we all know it’s a long way but if the boys play like this every time we will win the league. Most of the experts have City as number one and United as second. As I wrote in my last blog post about this season I said it will be extremely tight and I also believe the winner is either City or United. Both clubs need to win titles and it’s a huge pressure on both Pep and Jose to win the league. But as a United supporter I will always give my team ‘the benefits of the doubt’- I believe that United are a better and stronger team than City. Both teams got new players who needs to fit in. We got the best goal keeper in the world, we got Valencia and Bailly- both world class in their position. We got Matic who’s been pure class since day one, we got Pogba, Micky, Mata, Martial, Rash, Hererra, Lukaku…This is a winning team!

Sunday was a good surprise, I expected a win but not as good as this one. Of course we can allow ourself to be extra happy. It’s been years since we played like this.

Can’t wait for Saturday and the second round.

Gullet ender i Manchester.

Så for å oppsummere tabellen;

1. Manchester United

2. Manchester City

3. Chelsea

4. Arsenal

5. Tottenham
